had a birthday dinner here last year in august! food was delicious but slightly overpriced :-( the service was very very impressive and the staff made my family and i feel very welcomed! they also offered to place the birthday cake in the kitchen while we were having our dinner and brought it out after dessert with a lighted candle!will definitely be back again! thank you!
Truely a five star experience. If you really want to spoil yourself this is the right place. The food is exquisite. Service is excellent and the decor high class modern Japanese. The menu is extensive and caters well for vegetarians.
Fantastic food yet but very disappointed in our chef. We have been to a lot of Teppanyaki restaurants and the showmanship of this chef was very very ordinary. And to top it off, management were not interested in listening to our feedback when paying and just walked off.Ordinary food and awesome service will be memorable and you will return, whereas great food and a poor experience won't make you go back.
I love sharing my good dining experience with others and one of those is Sono Hamilton. I enjoy dining here and taking some friends for their special occasion. Food great and service great!
Had a wonderful anniversary dinner last night at Sono Portside. The management and staff were truly exceptional, particularly the wait staff for our table. She was friendly, courteous, patient, prompt and knowledgeable. The food was excellent and we did not have to wait long. A good team, a great restaurant. We had a great time.Thank you.Sharon & Ed Low
