The bar staff were fabulous. Although the food platters were staggered throughout the night, I ended up ordering my own meal as I was still quite hungry. Chips could have been hotter. Friendly wait staff. It was a staff Christmas Party so I guess the amount paid determined the amount and quality of food.
The schnitzel was very good and so were the mac and cheese balks. The sides were very expensive, and the chips were disgusting at $6. We left them there. The barmaid was too involved with chatting to locals to even get our order right. A double check would be nice. We will not be returning. Why would two people order one schnitzel? But two drinks were ordered to get the $5 schnitty per drink. We ended up halving the one we got. A nice waiter offered to get us another schnitzel but we declined. This place is very overrated.
Went on the $5 burger night. Still cost me $18 total and I received 4 tiny jalapeno poppers, one small dry grisly cheeseburger and a coke zero. Only thing I can't complain about was the coke. Jalapeno poppers were ok but not enough for $9. Cheeseburger was so chewy and dry I couldn't eat it and the server was rude, no customer service just wanted you out of the way. Won't be back until the portion sizes are more reasonable for the price, the food is better quality and the customer service is better.
